5 Tips For A Better Growth

Have you ever looked into the mirror and asked yourself why you’ve stopped to gain muscle? If yes, then welcome to the club. These periods are quite normal for everyone of us. Though, we must not accept them and that is because we have worked too much and have invested too much in order to be stopped by such a period.

Though, a lot of people instead of complaining of thinking how to pass over this situation, and how to add size to their body, they are just complaining and don’t do nothing about it. That is the major problem. This is why I come and say: no matter what you are dealing with, concentrate on the solution to get out of it, not on the situation. Otherwise it might get even worse.

However, we are blessed to have some pro bodybuilding experts among us. What are their main solutions for passing through these periods when the progress seems to be…invisible? You will see in the following lines.

First of all, everyone is advised to eat more. The lack of progress might be a sign from the body that the daily nutrients aren’t enough anymore and that he needs more food for a proper muscle growth. This is happening especially to those who are in the bulk period. The only thing they can do is to eat even more, even if this means some extra fat on their bodies. That’s how bodybuilding is: no sacrifices, no gain!

Next, always stretch your muscles between the sets. If you have ever heard of FST 7 – the schedule training that Phil Heath and Jay Cutler have used for the preparation for Mr. Olympia 2008 and 2009- then you know how important is to stretch your muscles. Basically, the fascia which covers your muscles doesn’t let your muscles to develop and it is keeping them tight. Though, if the fascia is stretched, you will be able/ “you will have room” to add more and more muscles.

The third tip is related to overtraining. Even if the IFBB PRO, Brandon Curry used to say that there is no such thing as overtraining and that there is just undereating, try to take a break a week or two. This break will definitely be benefic for your joints, and also, when you will start again, your muscles will get a new impulse, therefore the chances for a muscle growth will increase.

Fourth, always keep in mind your goals. Where do you want to reach in the next 2 months? How many cm/inches do you want to add. Therefore, set realizable goals – a little more higher than your normal capacities – and go for them. Make them possible and let them be. This way, you will definitely register correctly your progress, and within the period of time you have set for your goals, you can experiment new training styles, new supplements, just to see if they work or not for you.

Finally, just try to keep yourself motivated. That is the supreme tip. Always know what you are fighting for. Be thankful for what you have accomplished until now, but look forward to progressing even more. And most of all, don’t ever listen to the negative people. If they can not do it, this doesn’t mean you will also fail. Because that’s how life is: some are meant to succeed if they open their minds, and some are meant to remain mediocre. You choose what you want to be and it will be so.
